Learn how to start your own medicine chest from foraged finds with the ever-popular course run by much-admired local herbalist, Sarah Hillyer.

 

This course is hands-on and practical, and will teach you how to make your own simple tincture to take home with you.  After an informative, guided walk around the grounds of the beautiful Sustainability Centre in the heart of the South Downs National Park, you will retire to its classroom space where you will learn how to dry your finds effectively and make a simple herbal medicine of your own.

Boost Energy & Kickstart Immunity in April will focus on fresh leaves and early flowers and show you how to use them to make natural remedies to cleanse, detox and re-energise your body.

Help Heart, Blood & Nerves in June will focus on summer flowers and how you can use them to make simple medicines to strengthen the bodily systems such as your heart, blood and nervous system. 

Bolster your Body will take place in July as your body requires strengthening.  The leaves and flowers you find on this summer course will help to strengthen bodily systems such as your gut, heart and lymphatic system.
